IDCheck

U.S. Eagle participates in shared branching through a cooperative effort between credit unions nationwide.

As part of this convenience, we understand it’s crucial to help protect you from account takeover fraud. Beginning May 1st 2025, we are introducing a new ID proofing measure called IDCheck for in-person visits to our branches and those of other credit unions.

This means guest credit union members who present an out-of-state ID while visiting our shared branches will engage in the IDCheck process. The requirements for our current members visiting shared branches elsewhere may vary based on the credit unions visited.

How It Works

  1. Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
  2. Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list.
  3. Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number.
  4. Upload a photo of your ID.
  5. Take a selfie - Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
  6. Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).

If you plan to visit a shared branch location in the future, you can get a ‘head start’ by enabling the IDCheck process now by visiting verify.coop.org and saving the verification process steps.
